St-Feuillien Quadruple is a very dark and very dense brown beer. It is noticeably alcoholic. It is distinguished by a complex and finely caramelized aroma with nuances of Madeira wine and candied fruits, as well as an intense touch of fermentation esters (banana-like fruity aroma). A slight hop aroma (English style) completes the whole. The palate is long and powerful with a strong body built on density and generous apparent extract. The bitterness is present but soft and harmonizes with the malty structure. The selection of special malts enhances the chocolatey side mixed with hints of coconut. The carbonation is medium.
